The Manufacturer claims it to be a couple of degrees better than the AS5...however its debatable....some have achieved better temperatures with the AS5 than the MX-2. A lot depends on the kind of hardware you have and how you applied the paste. Unless you are an extreme overclocker...you shouldn't be so concerned with it and just go for the cheaper one...i.e. AS5

I agree... the MX-2 i got from you... did'nt drop my CPU temp at all.... but it dropped my 8800GT temps by 2-3 degrees...

got temps lower by 5-6. As only an hour has passed from the time i applied it, it must be in Break-in Period so i may get better temps after some days.
