'This email id has been blocked following an abuse alert'...REDIFFMAIL ?

Today i was reading an article on rediff.com and tried posting a comment on one of them. When doing that, it asks for the rediffmail email id and password. I have two of them. When i entered one of the email ids and its password. It gave the message as

" This email id has been blocked following an abuse alert"
This happens for my other email id also
I really dont understand why i got this error. These email ids are quiet old and i occasionally login to them to keep hem active but never send any mail from it. What may be the reason for this blocking. I did not try logging in my email account yet as i am in office and doing so would activate the websense.

Did you earlier leave any abusive comments etc using the ids? That could be a reason why they are blocked.

Contact rediff support and just ask them?

I think the rediff domain/servers may be blocked in general, so

any_name @ rediffmail.com may be blocked

Unless its "The Great Firewall Of China" at play here? heh

Nah...i never left a comment there. This is a first time i was attempting to do so.

Also it does not seem to be the Great FIREWALL of China. But ya Youtube and google video is blocked
