He will mark it as a "Broken watch - Warranty Return" with a value of $15-$20. My package was not opened by customs so didn't attract any duty. They usually dont bother opening the package unless its high value or packed very well (Vostok watches have a plastic box - hardly seems valuable!). If they do open it for inspection though, they will slap a duty as they please and ask you to reach out to them with the invoices for assessing duty.
