I already have the Skullcandy SLYR and love it. but right now I am contemplating on the purchase of Sennheiser HD598 but I just want a good gaming headset. mic is not important as I will have creative's mic.

For competitive FPS gaming Audio Technica AD 700(they lack bass) would be great.

Other TE members must chime in for opinions on HD598 or other suggestions.

Awesome stuff. Where did you get the chair from and how much did it cost?
I purchased online.
chair: http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Furniture/Chairs/Leather-and-Plush-Chairs/OWBATHSRED

@op, dont you feel 32 gb is too much for the apps you have mentioned? i kinda feel like you wasted huge money here.
more is never enough

Btw, today's update is that all the stuff arrived and the box came to life. took a while for me to setup windows and all the drivers... the cpu is pretty cool at 32C:D will start overclocking sometime next week.
if you look at it, even the big a$$ dell monitor looks puny in front of the phantom 820 lol.
