If you are on Win 7/ XP 32 bit OS, Please upgrade to Win 7x64 and see significant improvement in gaming perfomance especially when you have good amount of RAM installed(4GB+).

I was not able to play NFS-HP 2010 in 880G chipset mother board with IGP, but now I am playing at normal resolution and getting 22fps(playable).

Improvement in other games too.

IF you really wanna know the difference.Download HAWX benchmark tool and test it on both.hell and heaven difference.

Well, trend here is different, have a look:

BenchmarK3D - Game Benchmarks and Analysis

Huh!
More I know more I get confused.....:S
I could not find any significant difference between 64Bit and 32Bit.
I think I will stick with 32Bit for now.
Windows 7 32Bit + 4GB DDR2 RAM is OK for me at present.....

So,x64 would be better than 32bit even if I have 4GB of physical RAM ?

But,x64 got some issue with most of the application or games ?

What should be best page file size for 4GB of physical RAM ?

At present I have set 2GB page file at C: and 2GB at other drive, total 4GB.

you have 4GB ram that's why x64 will be better, cuz the entirety of your RAM will be used.

Let paging file be double of total ram always.

Hmm...Thread should be moved to operating systems section.

Upgrading to x64 is the better choice but don't upgrade to x64 expecting to see a big boost in performance, since most games only have 32-bit binaries there will be almost no improvement. If you are using any applications which have 64-bit versions and/or are very memory intensive then switching will help.To summarise, Besides 64-bit applications only 32-bit applications which use a large amount of memory will benefit, other 32-bit applications might actually run a little slower due to the additional overhead of emulation(which is very small since the emulation is pretty efficient).

My CPU is Intel E2180@2.0GHz.

I don't use any heavy application.

Most of the applications are just basic essential free wares.

I want see x64 as casual PC gamer.....

^^Don't upgrade, you won't see any increase in performance.Just choose x64 the next time you get a new OS.Like when Windows 8 is coming out.

some games show little improvement, some no improvement and some drastic improvement. And that's what pays off.
