Hi admin,

My account name is titanium556. Some random person kept liking all my comments apparently without any reason, and some admin thought that it was me only creating duplicate accounts to like my own comments. I would kindly request you to check the IP Address of the person liking my comments, and check it with my IP Address. You will see that it won't match. Kindly lift the ban from my account as I wasn't breaking any rules. If you refuse to lift the ban, then I'll quietly leave the forum, and won't create a new account until I'm unbanned. Kindly let me know and consider my request as I wasn't breaking any forum rules. I humbly request you to check the IP Addresses of the accounts spamming likes on my posts. There is no proof that the person liking my posts was me only, and noone should be banned without strong evidence. Kindly check the IP Addresses and lift the ban on my account

Hello there!

I had banned your account and the other duplicate accounts as well. Since you had asked for ‘strong evidence’, here goes:

You were desperate to open a sale thread on the Market section but you were running short of sufficient trophy points to do so. On last Monday evening, you had posted this on the Giveaway Thread:

"I need it, and can someone plz like my post? I need 4 trophy points to start a FS thread on TE”

which was promptly deleted later because openly asking for likes is considered a bad etiquette on the forums and we definitely do not encourage that.

So you decide to create two duplicate IDs - aditya556 (on Monday) and Rajesh99 (on Tuesday). Good coincidence there - 556 attached to aditya as well as your ID i.e. titanium!

And all the two IDs have been doing till date was nothing but to like your posts and just yours. Rajesh had however posted on the blood donation thread initially but later reverted to liking your posts.

Since you garnered sufficient trophy points on Monday itself, you opened up a 2 TB drive sale thread on the same day evening and the drive was sold on Wednesday.

Coming to the IP addresses, titanium556 i.e. you belong to Delhi (as per the IP check here and from your sale thread) with a dynamic IP from Airtel originating from 122.161.x.xx which geographically points to New Delhi/Gurgaon.

aditya556’s IP also belongs to 122.161. which points to the same location and the Airtel ISP. The IP has a perfect match!

Rajesh99 however posted from a proxy originating from 212.84.

Those were reason enough to cease your activity on the forum. Hope this clears our stand. Please be a bit sensible when you are resorting to such cheap tactics next time.

Forgot to mention.

@raksrules was kind enough to let us know that this member was spamming around. So a big thanks to him for keeping a keen eye on the forums. This wouldn't have come to our notice otherwise. Keep up the good work and thank you once again!

The norm is to permaban the IP and the ID but we feel that a week's ban is a good leverage from our side.

Either way, you have a duplicate ID already and have market privileges as well (6 trophy points). What are you worried of anyway?!
