Budget 0-20k To all those who are building a rig and going for Ryzen builds especially WFH PC and editing rigs A520 based motherboards are ariving

I feel this will be last am4 supported boards.
Next will be ddr5 and new socket.
Yes, basically Ryzan 4xxx will be last line-up on AM4.

Edit: Desktop 4xxx obviously since laptop lineup is already on 4xxx numbering.

Tentative date is 18th August

A520 wont support oc may be not even pcie 4.0 ,but it would be very cost effective and do the job

You wont have to spend extra on those b450`s and b550

Op... sorry.. noob question.... so should go with basic B450 board (below 10k) or wait for A520 ...

I'm soon will buy Ryzen 3600 + B450 Board (lowest possible)

Why do you need a 3600 ?
I would go with thr 3300x

Here my dealer quote

3300x Rs.13500/-
3600 Rs.16500/-

I would like to know if B450 boards will support ryzen 4000 series in the future or should I go for b550. Price diff is about 2k between the cheapest 550 and 450

if you go for b 550 this should be your preference this is with respect to VFm

Asrock B550m Pro4

Gigabyte B550m Aorus Pro

Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 WIFI (note no USB-C)

Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 (note no USB-c)

MSI B550 Pro VDH WIFI

you can make your decision on local availability ,service center availability and features that you like in any of the above mentioned boards could be bios, bios updates etc

I was talking about the cheapest Gigabyte 450 and 550m DS3H boards. VRMs are not that great mind you

If you want confirmed support - get B550. For B450, AMD has promised but a lot depends on manufacturers to release BIOS updates.

A520s will be a rung lower from B550s. Would be interesting to wait and see India pricing. If paired with zen 2 APUs would be really vfm for budget builds.

MSI has already announced B450 boards supporting ryzen 4000 series proc with a beta BIOS update. Still getting b550 will be better.
