Hey people,

I got home last night and started up my laptop but noticed there was no display or anything. The power button is on, the HDD sound starts up and then the fans slow down. The system is running but there is no splash screen displayed or anything, I looked up the issue online and found this:

SATELLITE X200 won't boot - Toshiba Laptop Forums

It could be the above problem with the vga card because the symptoms seems to be the same. What do you guys suggest? The laptop is close to 3 years old, one memory module was faulty a few months ago so I took that out and it was running with a gig of memory. Do you guys think I should take out the ram module and then the HDDs individually and try booting? I was thinking of approaching these guys to get my data.

I am open to suggestions. Thanks for your help

nobody has any suggestions :( ?

first try the same by replacing the RAM module, check one by one, if no beeps or sound, and on the lcd, connect an external monitor to the vga port and switch the output via fn keys. check the same ,if no display then the lap is having some faulty part inside.
