I have currently the following specs and I want to upgrade it so that it can play games like COD MW2 in atleast medium settings. I don't know much about the hardware like if GPU etc will require a change of motherboard too or not. So, I want to know the total cost of the specs combined.

P4 2.6 GHz

512MB RAM

Some integrated Intel graphics card

Thats all I know, if any more information is required do tell how do I look it up?

:aww: Yeah I have this ancient machine still up for use.:Comp3:

If you cant find the Gigabyte mobo then go for the Asus -M4A78LT-M LE. Also if possible get a AthlonII X3 445 for ~3.4k

Though AM3 is going to be EOLed its the best bet in your budget.

I STRONGLY recommend this:

AMD A6 3650 2.6GHz @ 5.9k
Gigabyte GA-A75M-S2V @ 5.9k

FSP Saga II 400W @ 1.6k
Corsair Vengeance @ 2k

Total = Rs. 15,400

I know I know it overshoots the budget by 3k, but here's why I would ask you to still go ahead:

1. Better CPU, it's a quad!
2. 4GB RAM will help a lot, especially with Windows 7 OS
3. You can add a GPU later for Hybrid CFx
