TP-Link Archer AX10 AX1500 randomly dropping connection

I am having the same problem as OP but with a tp-link c6 ver 2. My setup is like this - airtel nokia router connected in bridge mode to tp-link c80 then connected lan to wan tp-link c6 in ap mode.

I think it started after an update about 2 weeks ago or maybe I just started noticing it since then. Can I RMA this router, what problem will I tell them?

OT- I bought the c80 over the ax1000/1500 based on amazon reviews and am happy with it so far.

You can post at the Official TP-Link support forums as well. Explain them the problem, if they aren't able to resolve they refer the case to the RMA themselves and Indian RMA department will contact you.
Can search through the forums as well, for a similar problem with same model.
 
Update - I called up tp link customer service and they could not resolve my issue. Opened an RMA ticket but because of some miscommunication they took 10-15 days to send me email at correct address. Then we got hit with lockdown. Finally I have submitted my router today and been told to wait 15 days. If I get a new replacement, will most likely sell it and upgrade to a one mesh supported access point ( re450/re550).

I have replaced my C6 with a backup C60 for now. C60 is fast ethernet and does not have access point mode so connected lan to lan.
 
^^ I'll try it when I get home. Thanks. Don't want to replace the router (c6) as it gives me access to channel 13 on 2.4g, wifi n, so no conflict with my primary router (channel 1).
on 2.4 ghz use only 1.6 and 11 as those are the only non overlapping channels
 
@REY619, do you have any device (like xps laptop) with Killer NIC,

if yes, then the issue is same as mine.

I have tp-link router and xps laptop with killer NIC

The power saving feature on killer NIC drops the entire network.


I found solution somewhere that you have to disable WMM in Wireless Advanced for router

Then disable power save feature on laptop which has killer hardware,

Then it works perfectly.
 
This worked for me on my home network so I thought I would pass it on.

I'm using my old TP-Link Touch P5 router in repeater mode as a WiFi extender.
The router I'm using is a TP-Link AC4000 Tri-band with the 5G-2 broadcast off.

These "Led Controller INFO [****] Start to run WAN0_OFF" log messages, turned out to be a repeater setting.

I read on the net that I should try to be a good neighbor and turn off any unused WiFi signals, so I did.
I didn't need the 2.4Ghz signal coming from my repeater as I planned to use only the 5Ghz for gaming.
When I shut off the repeaters 2.4Ghz signal, that's when my router started spitting out the WAN messages.
I turned the repeaters 2.4Ghz signal back on and the WAN messages stopped.

My conclusion is that if you are using a repeater, extender or whatever, you should repeat both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz signals regardless, as they seem to complete some type of broadcasting circuit. Sounds crazy I know but it's working.

My router SSID and repeater SSID are different by the way as some older devices aren't designed to seek out the stronger signal of two identical SSID's. Additionally, I turned off many of the routers network settings like ARP binding and some other lag inducing redundant security features.
