Our sympathies:(

Ive had something similar situation couple of months back. I had to get some hard to get thing which was nearly a gb. I have got it from four different sources and each time it turned out to be pr0n (that too all different). I have 4gb+ of it now and still dont have what I actually wanted :@

You DID get 4gb+ of unique pr0n :P

And again........ :@

Only some 200kb left :(

I faced even worst case. I was uploading my Custom ROM (there were two files of 200mb each). I started uploading them on sourceforge server using their browser upload tool. After 95%, I accidentally clicked on refresh page. Everything was gone.. whole 390mb of upload was waste. I've faced download fail crysis lots of time but I usually don't mind as we have good download speed here. But uploading at 50kbps pi**ed me off..

Man that is truly sad. :(
But this thread is a nice place for people to share such tragedies :bleh: and vent their anger for their good !!

OP/Mods please consider this request, Rename this thread as the Horrendous\Grievous Download Tragedies !! ;)

I downloaded a 6 GB of something, unzipped it... and then I thought I copied it onto the USB HDD and shift deleted it :S

My sympathies with you :(

This thread reminds me of the early days of my downloading. Where i used rapidshare on tata walky connection to download movies.
I had to schedule alarm on my clock so that after that 100mb i could queue the next download.
Had an instance where the download had got stuck for just 10kb of download.
So with heavy heart tried to download it again only to Find that the file had been deleted for infringement. :@.
I was like cursing myself because it was for string of downloaded files together .
From Then on i quit downloadin from rapidshare. :@

IDM and premium link generator FTW :gap:
IDM is much better but it also fails sometime, though very less.

Yeah same.. good old rapidshare and ddl sites :D

I used 64 kbps cable connection, got at most download speed 20 kbps and that too in IDM and yet, used to download over one n half GB a month :D

Well I am pretty much happy with Rapidshare(free user). I use JDownloader and queue all my RS links in it. Then I leave them for downloading overnight getting download speeds above 210kbps, and yeah, not to forget that I can pause/resume too :D :D

I don't need a premium account when I can do everything(except simultaneous downloading) as a free user !
