TRAI for ‘redefining’ floor broadband speed at 2Mbps

may be ... we wud get 2 mbps ... might be ... or better stick ur habbits to 256 kbps as we won't get 2 mbps soooooon enough !

K..... IF tha becomes true, then it will be one kickass news...

Lets see when it is actually implemented in India....

And besides the Speed constraint :-

TRAI SHOULD ALSO FRAME OUT some rules on the download limit condition......

And what should go on in an Unlimited plan..... bcoz Airtel has been naiming there plan unlimited but has brought about stupid FUP,......

Later!!!!

MTNL first need to improve their line and support. I always face frequent disconnection and there is no support when you need.

for me i have not exp any downtime with MTNL for now

not a single DC for even 1sec !! its so damm smooth and 2mbps always

just 1 issue i am being overcharged with the day charges ..

is MTNL coming out with any new UNLIMITED plans ?

I have been getting disconnections and bad speed just after this monsoon season started. Till then everything was just fine.

If Pak rs. is lower than us how come they still have lower price on their net connections, amazes me.

i have not got a single DC even in the worst rains here !!

i live in MUMBAI - DADAR area

besides i hv heard tht MTNL is gonna launch new plans this August ... ie 15th ?

PS - im not sure !

Yeah right 2mbps, abhi we dont even have proper 256kbps. ISP's say 256kbps but if you talk to them after taking connection, it is promised something <256kbps.

they will most probably provide shared connections under BB slogan..

as in in 2mbps UL divided amongst 8-10 users...

while in actual the speed will be regulated n maintained to 256kbps per user...

1GB limit??

perhaps too much..

one of my Local ISP offers 2mbps connection at 400MB limit ..that too for freaking inr540/month
