Storage Solutions Transcend Storejet 160gb RMA query

Hi,
My cousin's Transcend Storejet 160 gb harddrive is not been detected, only blue light is illuminating on the drive. My cousin used this drive couple of times around six months ago, ever since it's been lying without any use, yesterday he connected to his laptop but there is no detection of harddrive, i also checked it on couple of computers but no detection.

I need to ask couple of things.

1. what could be the problem, i know it's hard to say, just wants to know if anyone has ever experience that( there is no sound of click click).

2. Where in Delhi i get RMA done.

I checked online for product verification and it's warranty date, it mention AUG 2011.

PS : Drive purchased from Chennai, don't have bill as it was gifted by his friend.
 
no bill required, its service centre is Accel frontline (in delhi ,i think),or else you can contact any transcend stockits in Delhi for the same,
i think that the HDD is making the problem, it comes with 2 yr warranty too,Also take the product package (if with you)to the RMA centre

i dont think accel handles rma for transcend hdds , its done through the dealer only who sold it .. last time i asked accel 4-5 months before they said they dont do transcend hdd rma .. u should call and ask before going .
