Trying to install Windows 7, Getting BSOD

Problem Problem!

Video screen keep going black for 1-2 seconds and I also have broken pixels on desktop. what could be the cause?

here is my laptop config

Video drivers..? Check the device manager to see if the video display drivers are installed. Use windows update to find if it has any updated drivers to install. Else, get the vista compatible display drivers for your PC and install them.

I already got the latest driver from windows update

Plus, I checked the driver from IBM, They have it for Vista.

Is this some kind of bug in video driver?

The Screen goes black for few seconds and comes back with a popup that "Intel Video Display driver for Windows Vista has stopped responding and has been removed". any clue how to remove this error?

Install the vista drivers, they should wok just fine..

Should I be installing older version of video driver in compatibility mode?

No simply install them if they are vista drivers..Use run as administrator..
