Tube comin on OCT 2

lol... trust me guys.... this is the first Nokia Touch phone.... The N96 is priced at a very odd 34k, the next phone under it is the Nokia N95 8GB at 26k.... The Tube would be placed in between.....

Its not about whether they have the OS< or the hardware... its just about making as much profits as possible.. :)
 
ok lets look at n78 price. its at 15k.

now this phone has everything n78 has got. in addition to that it also has a large display, touch screen and 8 gb micro sd. also add some hype to it. :P that would easily take it above 20k.
 
although this might look good, lets face it, we can all buy it here but it will be buggy and dead slow for sure. even the n96 needs one or more restarts a day. will take nokia a while to make it perfect... looks good but to use on daily base this might just not live up to the hype surely. this has been in the works since a year now. i hope they have colors like white man im tired of the gay black everything editions

hey u freaking tosser, watch ur tone, ive been using cell phones for 10 years now so piss off calling other people names, ure the freaking noob. have u even used the n96 or just talking for the heck of it

Dude, truly, What makes you say it will be buggy and dead slow FOR SURE ??!! You handled the device yet? I wont be surprised it it turns out a little buggy since it is the first S60v5 device, but dead slow?
And can you provide some source which says the N96 requires a restart a day? Is some friend of yours using or you used it? It has Demand Paging as well as ample amount of RAM, so RAM shortage is not going to be an issue for sure.
And did you really call black gay over white?

by dead slow i dont mean it will take 5 mins to open anything and everything. i mean even when i got my n82 first lot it was slow. i had my n95 8gb it was a pain in the neck it was hell slow nothing was right i used it for 10 days got fed up and sold it. it was slow and slow bad when u started loading it. this year in 2008 i bought around 20 phones most were nokias and they still are suffering with new models only in the start then they stabilze it. i remember my 7650 days my god it was so facinating even though today it might be totally outdated lol. i have used the n96 and in my hands it hung 2 times. 3 owners as of now are very happy with the phone n96 but it is slow and hangs. typical nokia there is nothing wrong with all that nokia will fix it for sure. the only reason i dont have one cuz of the price at 35k orelse even i would have got it. hehehe. i dont hate the n96 or iphone also i love all phones that are cool. peaceee. lets just wait and not fight now. just 2 days for launch will say it all...
 
anyone who says nokia arent slow hasn't used N73:bleh:
by the way my bro has a n96, i dont see much difference in it compared to even my N73ME,

Why dont you say that the first firmware is slow and not as fast as the device can be? That would be more apt instead of a generalized statement like this. And really, although even i say the first firmwares are slow, but as slow as you are saying, getting fed up, is a bit too mch.

I dont think so. Nokia has never before released a product on the same day as announcement, AFAIK. They always launch or announce a product officially before releasing it. So i guess Oct 2 will be the day the big announcement is made.

if you think nokia is slow then why do you keep buying the s60 phones? buy some other phone like SE or anything.

you have used many phones and i always see a new thread in the market section for selling a phone that has recently released. i guess you are expecting too much out of your phone.
 
Yaay!!1! Flamewar :-p . I spoke with a buddy who works for the said mobile phone company (codes the UI elements for S60 phones). Apparently the Tube is going to be a little beta-ish compared to the same price range phones. Bad idea to invest in one, he says. They're still playing catchup to the apple product. I for one, am an avid beta tester and wouldn't mind picking up one of those if I had the $$.

Just because the phone is a complete touchscreen phone without any keypad, it has to be a copy of iPhone since the form factors are similar? Common man, grow up :no:
Any phone which has no keypad and a full touchscreen is called an iPhone copy, whereas those with a keypad are not.

So does this mean that from now on, only apple can make the full touchscreen-no keypad phones? What rubbish man

there was an interesting discovery a few millennia ago it was called the wheel, some ppl made carts out of it.

And ppl are still making car(t)s out of the same design.

Does that mean all the ppl are aping the original wheel?

When would we stop comparing each upcoming phone with da iphone n each upcoming pmp with da ipod?

Innovation will happen every other day, at apple labs or elsewhere n its always good for us consumers.
 
for n73 yes it was slow when i bought mine the last firmware i used was fast. then also when i sold my n82 that very day i did upload the 30.0 firmware dint notice a difference but same day sold it as well. i have used sony and o2 and samsung and htc and nokia and apple. sony i dont buy anymore since i like yes and no buttons most of the sonys dont have that, ones that have i dont like. i keep changing my phones every 3 - 6 months and love nokia S60 becuase of the apps and games :ohyeah: it rules and all my bookmarks and stuff is with nokia. another main reason is THEMES. after iphone nokia has the best themes. only reason i do not own n96 right now is one that it is a slider and other that its for 33+k. i have never spent so much on a phone max till date is 30k on nokia 7650 back in 2003 :). after that the o2 and stuff i used to import from uk and stuff got them cheap, used them, sold them. i love the tube but i have my doubts. since nokia is NOT A HIT with touchscreens still. they have tried and failed horridly. so lets hope this kicks ass of iphone or even come close. the reason i love iphone also is only the GUI and themes rest its a pain in the ... ok now i am tired typing bye
