i want to buy a Tv tuner card good quality i did not like the quality of pixelview and frontech can someone suggest a better quality card ?
 
how is the asus one avaliable in the market ,is the quality good ?

Also is Compro avaliable at lamington road any idea ?
 
How exactly the same Question I was going 2 ask!

Pls recommend A TV-Tuner Card( Only those Available @INDIA - only),that incorporates:-

1) BEST Pic Quality

2) Windows MCE like Interface

3) Maximum (all) TV-Channels surfing(No Skip of Channels)

4) Saving in REAL-TIME to MPEG2 or MPEG4 format directly

5) No H/W or S/W compatibility issues

6) Optional -Radio FM recording & Good Remote Control

**** IF " Criterion No1 " holds perfect,may compromise on other criterions,but only that!

Money Not a Factor,but expecting the deal within 4K!

***** Want 2 Buy the Card Quick bcoz of WORLD CUP futbol 2006

# Earlier was eyeing the Compro Models but confused abt their availability & also any services & morever Pinacle coming up with new models

So what should the card of Choice.............GUIDE ME QUICK!
 
i got 2 cards a compro videomate (dunno model no.) but not the gold + price - 2050/- and a asus ( again no model no.) -3000/-

Which is better of these 2 cards has anyone tried it ?
 
pinnacle is good but has bad Drivers support at the backend. The drivers for Indian models are actually stale now with no development past 2 years
 
So,what;s should b the GOOD/BEST deal............PINNACLE?

r the Latest Pinacle's havin GOOD Pic-Q(those with Media Centre s/w )?

forget any RECENT Ati product in India, u only get bloody 9600/9800 pro's here, not even graphics cards launched past 1 year. Usless to expect TV tuner cards to be available. U can check off for an All in wonder gfx card if u want one
 
Now,this is URGENT......

......WCF....is 3 days ahead...& I am still without a DECENT TV Tuner Card

Here,Compro Series Tv-Tuner cards r NOT available & More so mayb NOT available in Rest of India Currently,b,coz MEDIATECH HO@Mumbai doesnot have the Compro cards currently-out of stock.........& so am I without mycard of Wish.....COMPRO VIDEOMATE GOLD PLUS II......My Bad Luck......& morever Mumbai HO doesnot know for sure.....when they would b having next stocks of those cards

So,in this condition......can any one tell me........which should be 2nd BEST TV-TUNER CARD( I am NOT after ATI wonder Series) after the Compro cards

In my place,PINNACLE 50i is readily available for 2500 bucks

so wiuld 50i b a good choice (for GR88 pictures) or would I regret post purchase(bcoz,this item is one-time-buy,& without compro available currentlly,..even if i have 2 exchange the pinnacle,it would be another pinnacle or even a worse crap lowercost card from typhoon,pixelview,frontech etc)

So PLEASE PLEASE GUIDE ME FOR THE BEST TV-TUNER CARD AVAILABLE IN INDIA: PERIOD( next 2 Compro tv-tuner cards)

& FINALLY 1 THING.............I am in HURRY ,,so,folks,,,dole out some sound advices QUICK.......Mightb purchasing the stuff 2DAY itself!
 
Go for Pinnacle PCTV 100e MediaCenter...i have it and its rocking...good picture quality....its recods in vcd,svcd,dvd-long n dvd....

its superb...

i have also tried msi n compro tv tuner but the pinnacle tv tuner is way ahead in terms of Quality of Recording than msi n compro....it was reviewed in Digit May 2005 edition and won the gold in external tv-tuners.
 
I have talked to the pinnacle guy in Bangalore and other than the software there is not much difference between the 50i and 110i. Check the specs in the official website. One of my friends purchased the 50i recently. While installing in a few places(I don't remember where) it will show as 110i. Unless you have a 24 inch lcd i think the 50i is good enough. I am not sure about the external 100e.If you really want to go ahead and buy it..:hap2:
 
Forget the Pinnacle too. Got two different types and both still have the problem of skipping channels. The reception is not too brilliant either.
 
Now,Give ME a BREAK.................WHO is CORRECT?

........BTW,in midst of all confusion,.......I didn't get 2 BUY the TV-card evn today!

So,better informed guys.......WHAT's THE TAKE FOR ME? (in a very Limited Choice of thse CRAP Tv-cards)....or is it just NOW for ONLY the PINNACLE thing 2 happen?
 
whtever u go dont go for asus......i have it though quality is good...it has a serious hardware driver problem......the driver gives error it doesnt support this card.......i bought for 3.4k..........and it gave me probs worth 50k(endless trouble +time waste)
