Hi all,

I want to buy a 21" CRT TV.
Budget - around 7k
location - bangalore

any recommendations???

also I want broadband connection (unlinited downloads).
which one shall I go for?

For 21" cant go wrong with a sony wega although tey are around 9k...

For broadband if Airtel provides service in ur area go for their 384kbps unl@1k or 512kbps unl@1.5k plans...

i'll surely look at sony wega but the budget is strictly around 7k so any recommendation within 7k.

Broadband, go for Airtel. Enough said.

TV, depends on what you need it for - Normal cable, or DVDs, or Console gaming.

Although Sony has an edge in terms of DVD playback, it performed very average in the cable TV department. For me the best VFM brand is Panasonic which performed well in all three departments. An added bonus was that it has a component connection apart from regular composite/RCA connections. The component connection really does bring out the colours in DVDplayback / videogame consoles beautifully.

Have owned a 21" and a 29" Panasonic for 3 years plus now, and they have performed superbly. The 21" was 10K at that time, so I imagine it should be within 7K by now.
