Well I have got Win 2000 installed at my work PC. Now the issue is the PC only has 128 mb DDR RAM and it cannot be upgraded. So how do I tweak the system to use the least resources and services.
 
128mb should be more than enough for win2k right ? remember running it fine with 128mb and a k62
 
Also, disable all the effects... Right clicn on desktop and click properties, go to appearance.
Remove your desktop wallpaper as well. Leave it as a colid color.
