Why am i getting two different readings on the same disc in two diff versions of nero disc speed? :S
If you see the graph closely, in some places the PI/ PO errors are missing in the latest version of the program. :huh:

The disc was written at 8x and media was bought around 6 months ago. It is among the last discs of a box of 50pc.

is there any other tool to measure disc write quality?
 
Have you scanned them again with each to verify? Could be smearing/ dust on the dvd surface.
 
i cleaned the disc with microfiber cloth prior to verify. i will try again in same software just to make sure.
 
@6pack: from what i have seen,the overall score is never a indicative picture of the quality the disc,you got to look out for the PIF score which seems to consistent.
 
ok i cleaned the disc tray and disc with some denatured alcohol. i also used another scanning program. see the results. :S

seems i need to burn a new disc?
 
whats a read back curve? is it the disc speed while reading the disc? if so its marked in green in the above graphs. (& orange in one of the graphs)
