Yup!! Flipkart is awesome. I've ordered many stuff from them, from the order processing to delivery...it's all a smooth ride.

Flipkart is hands down the best Ecommmerce site in india sure they have thier share of bones in the closet but its wayyyyyyyyy less than others .

I ordered a 1TB HDD and it came neatly packed in Bubble Wrap sitting in a nice Cardboard box sandwitched with air fill bags. Flipkart is one of the best online shops in India so far. I have bought stuff over 20k from them

Flipkart rocks. Always delivered within 1-2 days, except my router which was 3 days. Never had to 'follow up' with them.

Yebhi - had ordered my Galaxy S2 from them. Great deal of 24K last October, but it took 5-6 calls at least before they shipped. I know others here who had used the same offer actually cancelled their order because of the delays.

Ordered Ink Cartridges for my Epson yesterday evening. Received them COD today afternoon. The guy even came with a portable POS and accepted my credit card for payment. Flipkart ROCKS !!!

Yepp they have now started Card on Delivery system.even I made payment using my debit card

Absolutely awesome service.I havent ordered any high value items so far.But the book and the headphone order reached me within 48 hrs.Packing is just professional..infact to much professional..

Flipkart actually have its own reputation in india, which is increasing like anything.I ordered few items which they delivered in time.

Packaging is fantastic,cc don't know.It seems that amazon will face tough competition from flipkart.

Flipkart was started by a couple of Ex-amazon guys hence the amazing experience. They have totally replicated the Amazon model

EDIT: typo

If amazon really comes with all guns blazing , flipkart , letsbuy etc wont be able to bear the force of such a tsunami .

Flipkart at the moment is wayyy ahead in the buying experience but I dont think they have the muscle to match Amazon's pricing capabilities .

We all have heard of predatory pricing used by big companies right ? , they bear losses for a period of time and destroy the opposition and then enjoy the monopoly they have in the market .

For reference you can see a case that was filed in a French court against Amazon for predatory pricing. It had a damaging effect on all local French websites .

But i wonder why this firms are taking such a lot of time in entering India .

I wish newegg comes here

. They are already there is china ! .

I also have had some awsome experiences with flipcart.com. I have already spent around 1L in flipcart and intent to spend more. I am sure it will give Amazon a real competition. My belief is that Amazon is going to take over flipcart just like ebay did to bazee.com

I've ordered twice from flipkart with absolutely no headaches. Even my DA was bubble wrapped superbly and delivered in no time.

I've tweeted and even maintained, they're currently the best Online Retailers operating in India.

If only they could lower their prices a bit and be on par with normal retailers.. it would be the icing on the cake

Well,

I am in all praise for Flip kart as well.

The very first time i bought any thing online was from flipkart..that too "Samsung Wave II".

I was very skeptical about the delivery(coz i never heard or seen anyone ordering a phone online)

But all my doubts vanished in thin air when the phone was delivered in 3 days.

which kinda looked like bullet proof packing

.

Anyways..since then i have never looked back.
