Even I was planning to get one for me.
But someone told you need to tie up with some wireless provider for licence.
And in India its not given for personal usage.
Although cheap 2 way radio with less range 200-300 mtrs are available for children.

As far as I can recall anything above 50mts is prohibited...even home cordless phones. but the authorities never care for the range. I had a sony cordless which could work well upto 1KM in clear line of sight. You can try to get these in and pray that they never notice it. If hey ask just feign ignorance about range.

Are you getting them in your baggage or mail ?

Maybe his home is as big as Buckingham Palace.

Oh Yeah and you are most welcome to visit, btw it was to be used on a construction site and after that just for fun at home.

BTW I already got one locally.

To be honest the authorities really dont care. They dont have sufficient resources and time to track you down. I heard lots of there mumbo jumbo and those ass**** spoke only non-sense. Yup I have two pairs of those bought during thanksgiving.
