reason for not using - using wifi 7 AP now, thought of keeping this as backup but no.

I have hourly notifications using RSS feed and NTFY. The Python script runs on my NAS. Works only when I'm on home wi-fi, but I get notified with max 1 hour delay for any new posts.

It was a fun side project. It's been up for more than 6 months but I've never actually bought anything because I got notified about it. If you want, I can share the script.
