Other known issues

Firefox 3

Ubuntu 8.04 includes Firefox 3.0 beta 5. This was felt to be the best option despite its pre-release status, in light of the extended support lifetime of Ubuntu 8.04 and the importance and complexity of Firefox security updates. Further release candidates and the final release may be considered for post-release updates.

consider this release candidate to be complete, stable, and suitable for

testing by any user. so its safe to upgarde now, to avoid the release rush & madness.

24April is going to be a mad day

Seems to me that if you are downloading via torrent, this would be a good thing :).. going to download today with the rest of the masses :P

i hope you folks are not downloading an old ISO (RC rather than final release)... the filename should not have -rc- in it :P

Run away .. Its seems like riots have taken place.. So rush and everything is haphazard.. it seems I have to upgrade my RC after 2-3 days :P I am so happy :yahoo:

Got the cd iso in less than 15 mins :P

First Impression: Nothing has changed from the previous release!

But honestly I have just burnt the iso, ran the live system and used it for 10 mins or so! Will give it some more time over the weekend :)
