51-70k Ultraportable Laptop - Urgent

Guys! I really need to change my laptop which heats up quite a lot (palms are burning), and terrible battery life, not to mention it's bulky. But it's a TunkPad L420, great keyboard.

My requirements are in this order:
- keyboard, battery life
- display, portability

Want something very light, preferably between 1.6-1.7 KG MAX, and a 13.3-inch high-resolution display. Battery life between 6-8 hours.

Budget below 70k, can stretch if it is worth it.

Will new products be announced at IFA, or will a new range of Ultrabooks launch after Windows 8.1 goes official (october 18th)?

thinkpad dell latitude and macbook air!

its available for 64k inclusive of tax if u can get the student discount.
screen res is 1440x900
i got one a few days back and i love it. extremely portable and excellent battery life.

I know about Air. Need slightly more powerful hardware. Think I should get the Mac Pro Retina which will launch next month and dual-boot Windows 8 on it?

the retina's will be over a lakh. if u can afford it, then they will be awesome
