your claim that nobody is forcing users to use the TE app. then why disable it on tt. let that continue in parallel of the home app.... if there is no special development efforts reqd for supporting the site on tt app. using it on mobile browsers is pita
What more functionality does tt app give over TE app while browsing TE? Why do you want to browse through tapatalk only? What difference will a few Mb extra ( if you installed TE app too) do to your phone?
nothing, but it's still a pain to install, run, update, close multiple apps. why don't you mention why TE NEEDS to have its own app, and reach out to the members with transparent reasons, and how this benefits TE in the long run?
that is a better way to get users to understand the background to licencing the TT app for individual forum use and packaging as an app.
just my two bits.
What do u mean by "the latter being paid"?It allows members to browse TE in the same functional and easy way as one does on Tapatalk. And there is also the small matter of the latter being paid!
I am all for the TE app but please do reconsider allowing TE access through TT. @Renegade, you had said TE would be accessible for people who've already added it to their TT network. However, am still not able to do so. This question was raised earlier as well but it missed your attention!

No ads on TE app, as compared to TT app. In one post you guys complained of full page ads and blame TE for trying to rake in money, when it was not true. Then, you don't want to install dedicated app too. Whatever options we have given you, you put it down and blame mods.
Do you people prefer tt app which will put full screen ads in between rather than TE app?
Tapatalk is paid while the TE app is free!

Those full page ads were displayed in TE app not TT. (Accidental or intentional is not the point here. However that was corrected later). Also members using paid TT anyways dont have to see any Ads. So in short YES we still prefer using TT over the TE app. So much that I can give up one forum to compensate for the pain of one additional app. I am sure many others second this thought. I feel stupid even replying to the arguments given here..... How are users forcing you??? Its not us who blocked access from one app to promote a inhouse app. Thats called forcing. We are just giving our opinions here about how we feel about the change. Gosh!!!!^ Why are you forcing us to enable TE support in Tapatalk app?
You don't like us forcing you (which we haven't), but you don't mind forcing us?
Lol mate , TE App is tapatalk only. The license was purchase by thge TE team -_- Its free to you,not them.

@Renegade Is there a reason for this?We don't intend to support tapatalk at all, not even the TE mobile app.

I'm on windows phone and browsing or typing this reply on mobile browser is not a pleasant experience. Nor can I add TE to official TT app.
Whether it's a dedicated app or TT support, I hope TE finds a way to reach its audience in this mobile dominated era because browser is not it.
