Unable to reply to certain Numbers.

Hello all,

For past some days i'm facing problems replying to some numbers.

Suppose i receive an SMS it says below the senders name, Reply Centre Defined, and if i try to REPLY it, it give error ' Unable to send message '. When clicked on details, it says ' Text Message: Invalid phone or message centre number. Check the number. '

But if i compose new SMS and send it to that number, it gets send successfully. Only problem arises while replying.

Rest, i'm able to make n recv calls. And with other nos. thers no prob while replying.

I talked with HUTCH, but its all OK with them.
Even refreshed my MSG Cntr no.

I'm using N70 ME.

P.S.: Similar problem link-- |Cingular problem ,but can this be the only cause????

change your sim to a new one... everything will be resolved.

Sorry...is this a solution??? Just for a single number.....

i repeat, i'm able to reply to sms of other people no.s except one.

Any specific logic behind the scenario to go for new Sim.

check in your message settings that the option of reply via same centre is unchecked.

^ Yeah, its precisely that. Note again, it should be UNCHECKED !

sorry.. didn't read that.... i had a hutch no. which had same prob earlier... changing the sim only resolved the prob.

Thnx all of you...problem solved. I asked the persons having problem, to turn their "reply via same centre " set to OFF or NO.
