Unbanning Yahoo Accounts?

Lol my friends yahoo account got banned for using abusive language in a chat room? wtf?

but apparently they disabled his account completely and hes neither able to create a new account on that name nor is he able to login to it in anyway.

It would be great of someone could help me out with a few suggestions.

Yahoo generally bans an account name for 90 days..

I had to disable my account coz of some thing some time back, took the same account name after 90 days...

Might be the same case...

EDIT: The thing is this guy got some notification on his secondary address, about some rules violation or something.

lol those were the first options considered, besides that id is reg with loads of stuff thats why he needs to get that id back.

your friend must be on static IP for creating new yahoo account.Tell him to change ip if possible then register new yahoo account.

I really don't think any idea will work here as they officially suspended the account.

You may try this option: Official Gmail Blog: Import your mail and contacts from other accounts

MAY BE Gmail fetches all the Mails from the Yahoo! Account

ppl bad mouth a lot in chat rooms...never heard of getting an account banned...he must hav pissed sum1 badly...and the guy/girl might have reported the incident...
hope he learns his lesson....

LOL People do all kinds of weird stuff on yahoo, not to mention the spam bots, your friend choice the wrong person to mess with i guess..get in contact with the yahoo mail team..maybe they can help.
