Unlock iphone 3GS

3.1.2 + blackra1n for jailbreaking and then blacksn0w for unlocking.

Do you have a laptop ? Then you could use your laptops wifi to setup an adhoc network and connect your phone to it..
 
So I need to make an Adhoc network ?

And then connect it using the iphone ?

Tried making an adhoc...Was successful in making the adhoc and my other laptop also connected to it but there was no net access I could not access the net most probably because I have cable internet and I need to use 24Online Client to connect to the internet.

I did try connecting the host computer to the internet but it did not work out.
 
just do check ur 3gs 5th digit if its 41 or more than that..if yes..then u gotta do teethered jailbreak for now..that means you'll have to open blackbrain on ur computer n connect ur phone wheenver ur wanna reboot..

Thanks to everyone for the help.

I restored firmware to 3.1.2

Used Blackra1n

Installed snow and cydia.

Working fine with an Airtel Sim switched off 3G as snow said.

Someone please help me out now with a decent plan for internet I have heard there is an 89 recharge for 200mb for the month

Thanks for the advice will think about it....Does anyone know how do I change the format for dialing a number as in the number gets divide by -'s not that its a problem but its not very pleasing aesthetically.
