unwanted tele marketing calls & sms even after registering DNC

How can I get a legal help, I am getting spam SMS messages including airtel/idea/telemarketing & few free lancers who are just sending sms & they dont pick the calls when I call them.

The latest is sending sms at odd hours & I blasted few guys who picked up my call & warn them not to send but the sms stil continue from random numbers.

the NDC (National Do Not Call registry) was a huge failure, atleast according to the Times of India.

So you are on your own when it comes to fending off prank calls.
 
call up CC and explain the case to them. they will immediate stop calling you. give 45-50 days for calls coming from ppl other than your providers. only 3 calls to Hutch CC worked for me. stupid "change your ringtone" calls :@

Never got a call after that.
 
i also registered for this service on my Airtel landline. Its been more than 2 months now. Still getting calls from airtel itself (pre-recorded voice) :@.
 
I enlisted to DNC as soon as I got a new no. from Airtel around 4 months back. It has been total peace of mind so far.

On the other hand, it has been a nightmare on Reliance FWP, multiple stoopid calls/sms everyday. Mom can't breathe in peace :(
 
I am thinking to get a new connection & register it in DNC & start using it only after 45 days & if then I get any call I better get compensated for those calls.
 
pre-recorded stuff should stop immediately....45 days is for any other party. like banks and credit card calls..once your name is in DNC directory...nobody can call you.
 
I never had those pre-recorded calls on my phone, its the tele-marketing sms being sent at odd times & bank/credit card calls. I have now taken a new no. which I will start using after 45 days.
 
How to register at DNC? its format is confusing the site wont accept my registration or is it firefox can anyone post screenies.

I have started receiving spam from futurebazaar after buying something from their site. Shouldnt have put my mobile no. only during registration, f00kin bastids.
 
Dude i have heard many things about this on the forum. Chill man np. Next time when a guy calls you then give some Big time "MC,BC" to him and if a girl call up then "ASK HER RATES AND TIMEPASS WITH HER" simple. You will see tht their will be shortage in coming calls and one day they will stop coming. I have applied it and i have stopped receiving those calls. simple funda kar do danda...laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahi maante...
