CPU/Mobo Updating BIOS from within Windows ?

I am updating my MOBO BIOS MSI 770T C45... The bios setup file is giving me option in windows itself to flash bios and asking me to close any running applications... Wat all applications do i need to close?? I have updated my bios once by creating a usb boot drive... but this time MSI says its easy to flash it from windows itself... I would like to know the procedure

no...just thought some new features would be there in bios.. ...Am sorry ...actually I have posted my doubt in the wrong thread..didnt see as I was in a hurry to have food...

As the message says, close all running applications, i.e. you should be staring at an empty taskbar.

You can also temporarily disable your anti-virus.

@op, like eddy have said, empty taskbar and disable AV, any any other resource hungry application
