CM 460 W for - 2200 at prime
CM 500 W for - 2600 at prime

is it advisable to go for 500 w?

yep

is 400 is not that much for u.

will surely help u get a few extra hard disks/fans is need arises.
me using cm 500w extreme now .
got variable speed fan.
very quiet,.
and i dont expect it to power my house(just my e6550 + 4 gb ram rig etc.) , i am pretty satisfied with it

I read somewhere that CM 460W would be sufficient for a 9600 Gt but not anything above that. will CM 500W support the higher cards?

any replies on this?

Depends on how much its 12v rails are rated for. I think an 8800GT requires ~26amps on the 12v to function properly, and maybe a card like the new ATI 4850 would need a bit more than that.

So please check the rating on the 500w and then make up your mind :)

A retailer at lammy told me that there are two E7200 chips. one which supports max 1066 and the other 1300 fsb.
also the first one has 2 mb l2 cache and the rest 1 mb is shared from the memory adn the other has 3 mb.

kindly confirm the same
Prices are 5450 and 5700

lol that is a lie i think
there is only 1 e7200.... it has a 3mb L2 cache and is 1066 fsb :)

the 1066 one will OC better too :D
insist to see the boxes and u shall know :P
