Well if you want options, these are your cards Sire --
  • LOGITECH G400 ~1600/-; spiritual inheritor of the mantle of the 'new MX 518', if you liked the original design you are going to be right at home here.
  • Roccat Kova+ ~1900/-; Roccat is a relative new-comer in the Indian market, well respected in the gaming fraternity, this is one of their budget offerings.
  • Corsair Vengeance M60 ~2700/- --> 3000/-; long known on the international dais as a renowned memory brand, Corsair has rapidly diversified its product range and whenever they have released something new, it has met accolades from all and sundry. The M60 continues this legacy and is the most powerful option in your budget, its only gripe -- what do you do with a 5700 dpi sensor?
  • Razer DeathAdder ~2000/-; an old hand just like the MX-518 it has been its rival and greatest nemesis, now almost as old as its adversary the Death Adder sticks to the basics but lacks in build quality. Warranty is also circumspect.

Can you tell what all games you wish to play and what is your preferred grip style. If confused here, read this spiffy article here that shall clear your doubts.

You can research appropriately on Google for reviews and impressions of all the mice mentioned above.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

Hi Thanks for suggestions!! Thanks for your suggestions and I use Palm Grip. Out of the Options I checked out G400 but I guess m60 should be fine. How is rma and after sales of corsair in india? I play FPS and racing games generally.

I hope you are a right-handed person then.

Corsair RMA is handled by Kaizen Infotech and Aditya Infotech [in certain products] and both are reliable service providers. The Corsair M60 will be fine for FPS and racing generally does not require a mouse.

Which mouse-mat do you plan to use / use currently?

Hope ths helps, Cheers!!

I would recommend that you get a mouse ~2000/- -->2500/- price-band and invest the rest in a decent mouse-mat like these --
  • Rantopad H1 / H3 ~450/-; bare minimum mouse-mat for gaming aficionado's.
  • Razer Goliathus / Cooler Master STORM Tactics Pad-M ~750/-; the most basic Control Edition pads.
  • Roccat Sense ~1200/-; a speed pad for those speed-junkies.
  • Razer Vespula ~1600/-; hard surfaces, might give your laser sensors the extra edge.

These surfaces and more are available at most reputed online computer portals [Prime ABGB, The ITWares, The IT Depot] and flipkart.com.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!
