Budget 71-90K Upgrade on Motherboard, processor, ram recommendation needed in 90k plus minus

Also considering b450 board.

Later on can change the board to x570 in 6 month or so. Plus I wouldn't be overclocking like this.
Its a pretty viable option as you won't be upgrading to a Ryzen 4000 series CPU when you got a 3900X.

And Zen 5000 will anyways need a newer chipset than X570 due to DDR5 memory.

The B450 Tomahawk is a damn good board if you are not aiming for super high OCs.

Personally I would go for B450 as I am icky about the longevity of the chipset fan on the X570.

It's also priced at Rs.9900 on offline market. And that's a dam good offer if there is no issue. Only thing i might oc is the ram. May be tighten the ram timing or try to set it at 3600mhz or high. Cpu oc is a big no-no for me as aio is out of picture at the moment.

Now the only issue is the ram. I found c15d corsair ram but confused if it's a b die or not. One other kit is c14d but clocked at 3000mhz only.

Why are you even looking at 2400 MHz kits?
I would suggest looking at B450 discussion forums for the RAM kits people are getting to run at 3200+ MHz.

Thats how I ended up with the FlareX kit I have after I saw on Asus ROG forums that people had gotten the same FlareX kits at rated 3200 C14 speed on a 1700/Asus CH6 combo.

Yea i noticed that so have started looking for a 3200mhz or 3600mhz ram. Got a quote of 6k offline for 16gb kit but no idea of what brand it is. Timing is c16.

I hope i will be able to tighten the timing for the same.

@Chaos @Marcus Fenix @bssunilreddy what are your thoughts on the below rams?

1) https://www.bitkart.in/teamgroup-t-force-xtreem-16gb-8x2-ddr4-4300mhz-samsung-b-die.html - ₹18,900.00
2) https://www.bitkart.in/teamgroup-t-force-xtreem-16gb-8x2-ddr4-4500mhz-samsung-b-die.html - ₹14,500.00
3) https://mdcomputers.in/teamgroup-t-force-xtreem-argb-16gb-ddr4-3600mhz-tf10d416g3600hc18jdc01.html - ₹10,249.00

reposting it here as the threat we were discussing was not mine and didn't want to hijack it :)

for ram 1 and 2 below is the product specification:

for ram 3 below is the specifications:

I am more on the side of the 3rd one due to its the price, but one issue! the voltage for the ram to operate. it says 1.45v for c14 timing at 3600mhz and I think its 1.35v for 4000mhz at CL-18-22-22-42 which is not specified as I was trying to do research.
If what is product specification says is true, I can get 3600mhz at 1.35v on CL-18-22-22-42.

it's a bit confusing for me.

MSI Tomahawk MAX b450 Supports 2667/ 2800/ 2933/ 3000/ 3066/ 3200/ 3466/ 4000/ 4133 MHz (by A-XMP OC MODE). so it should be good.

is it a good buy ? also I plan to buy it from mdcomputers.in with the Snapmint EMI option. is it a good option as I have never used that EMI service.

If I go with 3rd ram option, will buy 2 kits to make a 32gb ram in total. else 16gb as of now if another option is what I should go for.

I am also not able to find any alternate kit which is offering Samsung B-die with good pricing. Corsair Dominator c15 16gb kit is been sold for ₹20k something, which is insane pricing I think in compared to teamgroup rams.

Also found really good video from hardware Unboxing and he is using the same setup.

3900x + msi b450 tomahawk max.

Teamgroup ram but didn't got which one.

I've sent a mail to MD to check if the kit is CL14 or CL18. It might be a copy paste mistake and might be CL18. In that case, you are better off buying micron E-die 3600 rated ram from amazon.

I have no clue about that website you linked to. Is it legit?

MDComputers is not that highly knowledgable when it comes to the timings but they can give you the exact SKU name which is enough to deduce the rest. :)

In case you need that info call up Palash @ +918697733560/ +918240252783 for the details you need. He's the guy in charge of selling the high end stuff.

@princeoo7 I spent around half an hour yesterday cross matching 3600 MHz kit dual channel kits from the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Zen 2 compatibility list and the available parts in vedant/Primeabgb/MDComputers etc. and I couldn't find any.

Bloody G.Skill and their SKUs with only one letter different. BTW I didn't see the ADATA kits avaliable locally listed in MSI's list.

Yea the g skill one is a total mess with only one alphabet here and there.

One ram kit is of b-die which is listed on primeabgb for 16k or so but out of stock. It's listed on the b-die listing website.

Also the teamgroup ram is not listed but the manufacturer plus hardware unboxed is using the teamgroup ram which overclock nicely. So i think it's safe to go with it.

Reset everything is super expensive [emoji28]

@Channel Name and then your comment.
Tried but didn't worked for me. So i searched for his comment and then reply to it. That way it worked [emoji53]

@Marcus Fenix and @Chaos what are your thoughts over this ram?

SKU: F4-3600C17D-32GTZSW

it's also listed over here as a b-die

I also connected to TeamGroup on FB and got to know that the ram might not be a cl14 at 1.45v as according to them it will be launched in Feb end and also as of now only 8gbx2 is available. in future, after Feb ends we will see the 16gbx2 kits. good news is that primeabgb will have the new stocks soon so we can find out more on the same from them as mdcomputers only one kit and when I called, they where like we can look into if after placing the order.

3600mhz c16 1.35v

4000 mhz c18 at 1.35v
Seems like you did it.

The model number for the 3600 MHz kit is BLE8G4D36BEEAK

I can see both of the 3600 and the 4000 kits in the B450 compatibility list-

1579159722599.png

And the 3 ticks on the right mean that these kits were tested in 1,2,4 stick configs so you can scale up to 32 GB easily.

I would go for the 3600 kit as its CL16 vs CL18 for the 4000 kit and >3600 MHz brings next to no advantages in a Ryzen build

is the above model good if i should go for a 3200mhz ram kit

The 3200 kit works as well but keep in mind its CL16.
And please post in one thread buddy. Don't jump around. Its giving me whiplash. :)

One other thing when you are doing recon for compatible RAM kits.
Anything catches your fancy go to this link-

Scroll to Compatibility and click on Memory by RX-3X00 to see all kits listed for Ryzen 3000 CPUs.
Then search for the exact part number with Ctrl+F
