hi all,

My current system is not working so need a new one badly.
Basically this new system will be used for normal purpose like surfing,games etc.

i have 750GB hdd,4850 gpu,cabinet,psu and 22" LCD.

i just need Processor,Motherboard(P45),Ram(2x2 Gb DDR2) and also would like to upgrade to a better gpu.

Firstly would like to know how good E7500 is at the same time how much Lack of VT in this processor will effect?

Also,if someone know if e8400 or e8500 is available with some dealer then do let me know as i cant find one.

First of all,Menstion uir budget.
Still...
if u are going to upgrade to higher card than HD4850, then E7500 (at stock speed) might bottleneck it. At least E8400 is recommended.

Corsair ram is good, VFM too. 2*2 GB 3K

for GPU I would say, stay with it and wait for HD5XXX. if desperate, go for 4870*2. but again we don't know ur budget.

Mention ur current PSU's model name and details.
 
I need to change my siggy,as have already sold those items couple of months back and currently i was on my old pc which died and there was no warranty left so need a new system asap.

Budget for processor,motherboard and ram is around 18-20k.Saw thread regarding ATI 5xxx series gpu which will be out within few weeks so will wait for that.

Dont want a AMD based system,might have gone for AMD but then i dont need a Quad where as there Dual core aint that powerful compared to intel 7xxx & 8xxx series,so would like to stick with Intel. thanks :)
