Hi guys,

I have a Dell P2721Q monitor which uses a 15 amp (bigger size) socket connected to a Mac Mini with M2 Pro chip. Where I live there are frequent power fluctuations and brief outages; and home electronics bear the brunt. I was thinking of getting a UPS for the monitor and Mac Mini, and also to plug in a modem and an expensive wifi router.

The problem is, I can't find any UPS with a 15 amp socket that the monitor requires.

Please advise me on which UPS I should buy, brands and rating etc; also whether it's preferable to get one with an inverter. I read on another thread here about people using an a socket adapter to use with their UPS, for their iMac. I have such an adapter. Is it safe to use that? Please help. Thanks.

You can change the cable to one with a 5A plug. Seems like a mistake.
Monitors are very light on power, and Dell specs for this monitor state a max power consumption of 138W. A 5A plug itself can handle ~1100W.
