in offline or backup series u can go for

BR1500IN (1.5KVA)-----------10k,

BR1100CI-IN (1.1KVA)--------5.3k,

BR1000IN (1KVA)-------------6k,

in online or smart series UPSs, there are

SUA750i (750VA)-------------7.5k,

SUA1000i(1KVA)--------------12.5k,

APC Smart-UPS (1500VA)-----18k

and it goes on increasing.........

i think for 850W u need atleast 1.5KVA capacity

your PSU has active PFC so i would suggest online or smart series UPS but u have to check the prices........

i was also searching one for my rig and have finalised on SUA750i........guess that will be sufficient.......

Guys!! beware, while APC provide stellar service while the product is under warranty, once it is out of warranty the after sales service is a nightmare. The annual maintenance contracts are taken care of by APC's local vendors who love playing hide and seek.

They take your money and hide, we will have to seek them out.

Get an APC whatever satisfies the wattage need. I've been using its home ups for 4 years now and no problems with the service, got only a minor problem once.

1KVA to 1.5KVA would be sufficient for your setup.

Had got a luminous one for the computer and it has now gone dead in 1.4 yrs, and oh it also ruined my new FSP power supply (thank goodness for the warranty) by giving it around 350volts running off the square wave home ups during a long power cut, had plugged it into a backed up outlet, an APC unit would've saved it since they don't go online if fed square wave power.

Well, i got my UPS. It Cost me 5.6k for 1kva numeric digital li/sw series and its just awsome so do better than apc. Its giving me 50 min backup with my setup so, i prefer go to Numeric than apc.

And Thanks for advise Devesh. :)

^can u share some specs for the UPS u bought.......if possible compare to APC smart series......

Compared to cost and the product numeric is awsome . The specs u have is that the same i have and also numeric is a PURE SINE WAVE output and for the same thing in apc u have to pay 10 k like in smart series(double the numeric) and also only apc smart series has sine wave output all the other series u suggested above are stepped sine or non sine wave . Sine wane UPS/ Inverter= pc secure ( my good old friend lost his mother board on apc backup time .I agree that apc is good @ high price But numeric ups is better than apc as far i say thought my experience.
