Why dont you try the card in some other system.. If its the card's problem, then it'd show these problems on the other system also..

what if the problem is wid board n bios?
his time will be wasted in replacing a working card..

plz atleast try if the card is workin properly in some other machine or not.

Hey Soumalidon!

Looks like the issues I had on my mobo when I plugged in the 7600GT I bought from you.

In my case, I solved it by going into the BIOS and ensuring that

1. AGP speed was matching with the cards requirement (my mobo was originally at 2x while the card was a 4x)

2. AGP Compensation (drive strength) was set to Auto (my mobo had some weird 2 digit hex value and changing it to Auto made it work. If this doesn't work, you may need to find out what is the hex value for the 3850 AGP and set that manually)

HTH :)

i guess, your card isn't getting enough voltage..

Sapphire HD3850 AGP uses an 8-pin PCI-E power connector..Since your PSU supports single 6 pin PCI-E connector, run it on 8 pin PCI-E power connector.. hope this will help

^^ That should not be an issue, as a molex converter should work fine. And that PSU is good enough for a 3850...

Its a DOA, screen corruption in bios means a card failure return it.

yes sapphire tech support said it was a defective card... i have to RMA :(.. this is very frustrating... first i have to wait 1 month to get the card and now its a DOA!!!! hope i wont have to wait another month for replacement!!
