PC Peripherals Urgent : E2200HD Or T220

am just comin from lammy...

was decided to get it today....took dad along...spent whole 6 hrs..

findin vx 450 was like searchin for needle in a stack of hay...
finally prime had 1 last piece which someone else had ordered..but i bought it..they said theyl hand a sonata to the other guy...lucky me..

so i bought it asap..

in the end got confused between samsung 2233sw and benq 2233sw

the q6600 and the q8200..both 9.6k

and my dad doesnt seem to approve of me spendin 4.5 ks on cm690 transparent side panel...

which other cabby shud i get then arnd 2.5 ...3 ks.??....

ps..also gettin..p5q pro. 4850...4 gb ram..640 aacs..damn aaks is extinct..

srry for puttin up all this in this thread....tia.

The Benq E2200HD which i got from Prime today is problematic , will be talking it back for a replacement , its going blank after 2 secs of display tried a lot but nothings working.

Display 2 Secs -> Blank for few more secs -> Display 2secs -> cycle keeps repeating.

Also got Palit 4850 Normal which when inserted on my nforce 4 current mobo the system wont even switch on , looks like will have to wait for my new mobo to arrive.
 
Guys got replacement for E2200HD and its working gr8.

This monitor is Huuuuge and the workspace is amazing , using full 1920x1080 thats a lot of desktop space , enjoying it.

Thanks everyone those who helped me finalize the Benq E2200HD.
 
There has been a huge discussion going on here about how text would look at full res. on E2200HD. With people opining that it would look to small to read. Kindly post some screenshots so that we get an idea of how it looks. If possible, also post some screenshots with lower res. too. This will give an idea whether text appears sharp or blurred.

I am interested in buying this monitor too and if not for some unforseen emergency expenditure would have bought it by now. But now have to wait for at least a couple of months.

And congrats on all the upgrades, I have been following your Rig 2009 thread too.

I got the E2200HD about 2 weeks back from Railton Computers in SP Rd. Bangalore for around 11,600+ including VAT and 2% extra for paying with a card.

So far so good.

Mumbai folks (old & regular buyer) from TE has very good experience about Primes ASS :rofl: so they do not care to pay 1000-1200 more.

I don't know if prime offer same ASS :rofl: to first time buyer too :)
 
Its not that i payed any thing extra that day almost all the shops in lammy had the benq for 12.5 to 12.6 had puchased my old comp also from prime so didnt think much and got it from there only , if any newguys here know deejay he was the one who introduced my to prime and so i didnt think even once and got my old rig from there , same thing this time.
 
can anyone throw some light on E2200HDA ??

I am getting E2200HDA for 10,300 in delhi .

And E2200HD for 12500 .

As i have searched , E2200HDA only has a D-sub input and no DVI no HDMI.

I have a NVIDIA 6600 Graphics card and my use in only Watcing movies and Browsing internet .

Pls advice shall i buy E2200HDA ??
 
IMO T220 is far better than E2200HD in terms of build quality, service, picture quality, specs.

neways congrats on a BIG monitor.
