gotta buy a combo...

processor ?
Motherboard ?
pci-e graphix card ?

all 3 inclusive 12k maxxxx...

was thinking of the 3800+ "+" m2n-mx combo "+" xfx 7300 le
will fit in for sure......

but im here for ur expert opinion......
so pls help...cause i need to buy ittttttttt TODAY itself........

X2 3600+ (brisbane core) ~ 4k (supposedly its dropped to 3.5k , but im not sure)

M2N-MX ~ 3.5k

XFX 7300LE should be somewhere around 2.7k (?)
 
Do you have DDR2 memory else you'd need ddr2 memory as well. Costs around 2.8 grand.

@vivek: Used 939 for more than a brand new am2 combo... you gotta be kidding me :P.
 
@chaos : 512*2 ddr2 of transend is alloted space already :) just need the procesor - motherboard - and pci-e graphic to fall into place...

the MSI M9NGM2-FID seems like a better buy..

has Nvidia 6150 chipset as opposed to the 6100 in the ASUS M2N-MX...

plus its got TV-Out !!..and .. costs a few hundred more !!
 
@rajshah : need to buy a Pci-xpress anyways....so the onboard dont' needed much.....might as well spend some more on the pci-e.....but then too thanks for advice...might consider...any link to the product....doesnt appear here

Depends on what is ur priority, if its gaming, then choose a slower proccesor and a faster video card.

7300LE will hardly offer a substantial increase from the integrated solution, in short games will be unplayable on both [;)]
 
@aces170: gaming preference is not too hight....but quite a bit...hehe should i consider the 7300gt over the le ?

EDIT : Inquired @ Lamington Rd.

7300 GT going for Rs.4250 (NOT LE)
3600+ "+" M2N-MX for Rs.7600.

Rs. 11850 !............ well under 12k ?

So wat say ? Should I go for 3600 instead of the 3800 and choose the GT over the LE ????
RAM is 1gb ddr2 transend !
 
^^7300GT is a much better card than LE. Go for 3600+ and M2N-MX. The board will overclock the cpu to 2.6-2.7GHz easily on the stock cooler. If possible, get the Palit 7300GT DDR3.
 
^^In bangalore its ~4.7K all inc IIRC. Also make sure to upgrade the bios of the M2N-MX as the stock bios is limited to 225MHz HTT.
 
@chaos : oh ! i had no clue abt that will do so ......is there a live update ? for the bios ? of needs a floppy drive and all that ? please lemme know as i have no clue @ all........and thanks for the info....will try to sneak in the palit if possible.......will it be better than the xfx/big 7300gt ?

What will he do with onboard graphics & TV-out whne he's getting a graphics card lol :P. Plus no overclocking options at all in that MSI mobo.

The ASUS has Vcore, Vmem, Vchipset, RAM manual timings nd all.

Now the new boards come with the reqd BIOS which allows upto 300 Mhz HTT.Anyway here r my recos

1. CPU- 3600+ Brisbane ---- 3.5k

2 Mobo--- Asus M2N-MX---3.5k

3. Graphics---Palit 7300GT DDR3( 500 core/ 1000 mem)---- 4.7k

This card uses 1.4ns memory chips...I had bencmarked this card...u can go upto 550/1450 without any hassles and get a score of arnd 5k in 3D mark 2005 which is better than those crap 7600GS with DDR2 chips

Total 11.7k
 
The BIG 7300 GT is with DDR2 and the core is also clocked at 300 Mhz and memory at 800.So better spend 700 bucks more & get Palit only

XFX 7300GT quoted @ 4350......now as per ur comments i have still not gone for it.....also ive heard that BIG 7300GT is crappy.....
called PRIMEABGB...they dont have PALIT>.....I HAVE to CLOSE this TODAY......someone GUIDEEE ! PALID 7300 GT READY WHERE !...ASAP PLS...
 
well if u have not got it the last time i checked here locally in delhi the SPARKLE 7300GT was @ 3250 . check that out to.
