Urgent Help: Making DATAONE connection wifi

Hi guys.. i have a BSNL Type II modem (Wifi modem) Utstarcom... right now im connecting using the LAn cable , i want to make it connect automatically when the modem is switched on, so tht i can use it with my mobile, pda and laptop,, i habe done it before by just changing the "Connection type " in modem configuration by selecting "PPP over ATM" and it worked fine then, but then i just used it as a trial and changed back to the normal LAN method, when i try to change it now, i am not getting connected.... :mad::mad::mad:dont know why... im using Win Vista now... is there anything else to change? like IP or subnet mask or somethin?

pls help.....

some time BSNL users has to use IP &DHCP address manually,first call BSNL support staff for the same ,if not required then please reset your modem & login to its interface & change the connection type.
