URGENT help on iphone unlocking

Is it possible to do update firmware offline , ie by selecting the downloaded firmware by holding shift button in itunes or should i PAWN it to do so?Now i'm planning to install itunes 7.5 and use 1.1.4 version firmware..
 
Yeah, While Holding Shift button you can select firmware file from your Drive... Its the only way for your iPhone..
 
Guys, what i did now is i installed 7.5 and uploaded firmware 2.O because 1.1.4 is giving same unknown error , now the firmware is uploaded and now i use iLiberty plus and jailbreaking its taking long time, "preparing data" is the message comin.. And its almost 15 minutes.. What should i do guys? Pls help fast

2.0 is best unlocked via WinPwn

In fact the winpwn method supercedes all previous methods

restore back to 2.0, then google for a Winpwn guide

winpwn guide says to create a custom firmware and restore it using that but its not working out,,,, it gives the "UNKNOWN ERROR" , works fine when i upload the normal 2.0 firmware but iLiberty plus fails to take the phone in to DFU mode.. dont know why it happens.....:@ :@
 
Someone pls help me out guys . . Pls i beg you.. Its been a week, i'm behind this unlocking process.:-( . .

when i click to jailbreak and unlock, it says switching to DFU mode and after that giving error cannot switch it dfu mode,
:-( , is anyone free enough to guide me through phone or chat pls pm me your phone number or I.M Id , pls guys pls help me.. Fed up with this :-(
 
gimme a step by step recount of the last process you tried to do, and let me see if I can figure out what's wrong
 
Ok let me explain you from first , i tried doing it wit followin tutorial

i created the custom firmware , but when i tried RESTORE ing it using ITUNES it gave me error " CANNOT RESTORE IPHONE UNKNOWN ERROR (6)"

so i tried installing the original 2.0 firmware , it also failed, so i installed itunes 7.5 and installed firmware 2.O , this time it worked, but its Locked, tried unlocking using ZIPHONE and iLiberty plus , but both the softwares hangs just after the phone restarts and the software says ENTERING TO DFU MODE. . .
 
try HACKINTOSH !!

1604 seems to be a problem when u are not in DFU mode !!!

BTW 2.0.2 is out maybee u wanna try that ..... hope it has the region fix this time :D
 
You'll need to make the 2.0 custom firmware using pwnage tool 2.0.1 or later.

iTunes 7.7 on Windows is crap. Its plagued with 1604 kind of errors. I had managed to load the 2.0 custom firmware file finally using iTunes 7.5 in recovery mode (no DFU mode needed). Do you have the 2.0 custom firmware (which is jailbroken and has unlock settings for bootneuter activated)? If yes, then try loading it using itunes 7.5 in recovery mode. DFU mode will NOT work

If still facing errors, the best way is to use itunes 7.7 in MAC machine/macbook - works flawlessly. Just plugin the iphone - no need to put it into any mode and load the 2.0 custom firmware by using shift + browse option on itunes page.
