Laptops URGENT: HP 17 inch (9500 series)

Hi,

This is really urgent. My brothers roaming the market in Dehradun looking for a good 17 incer

Nothing else will do. Hes not gonna be carrying it much so no wt issues (Only taking it mobile like 1-2 times a month). :ashamed:

Currently looking at

HP Pavilion dv9500 Entertainment Notebook PC series specifications - HP Home & Home Office products

Dealer says 49.5 after taxes n stuff. Only to be used for really basic movies, music n internet use.

Any recommendations?

Appreciate any dealer address in Dehradun who can provide some competitive pricing.

1 question though, how much does a stick of 1 Gb 667Mhz RAM cost? His dealer was quoting 4k!!!!

Told him to wait n i ll get it for him from somewhere else cos i think thats definitely too much

i had my dad's hp upgraded with a 512 mb stick at an authorized hp dealer in pune for rs.1050.

Maybe an HP authorised Dealer, but I seriouly doubt that is HP RAM at that price.
