Urgent situation, folks.
I am looking for a laptop, which will help me with web designing and using 3D Maya software.
I was going for Dell Inspiron 15 R, but looks like I will get the same (almost) config in a Lenovo make!
The thing is, I haven't been able to decide where to buy it from. The Vijay Sales at Infinity has Z560 and is selling it for 40,900.
Will be taking it on EMI, where I pay around 16,500 down payment and 3,500 for next 8 months. Suits my budgets that way.
The config is as follows (jotting it myself)
15.6″ inch HD Widescreen LED Backlit Display
i5 proccy (2 threads & 2.4GHz I guess)
3GB DDR III RAM
Nvidia GeForce CUDA 512 MB DDR III (not sure if it's DDR III)
500 GB HDD @ 5400 RPM
Backlit Keyboard Chiclet type (not sure, but I read it is backlit)
WiFi enabled (only 09143BU has it)
Can you suggest me some other laptop you favour, with lower budgets and still feasible for web designing and 3D Maya? But I will buy it from Vijay Sales only, since they have good financing options.
I tried at Lamington Road. Was getting a quote of 41K for Dell Inspiron 15 R with i5 (4 threads) ATI 5740 HD 1 GB card and all that is mentioned on the website. But I do not trust the authenticity, since it may be possible that Dell or any other brand may not accept the warranty. Because they buy it directly on dealerships and sell in grey market.
