Storage Solutions USB 3.0 Speeds issue

I have a WD elements USB 3.0HDD . Though i dont have any USB 3.0 slot on my PC, so today i tried it on my friend's laptop having 3.0 support. I heard that the speeds of 3.0 are 10x the speeds of 2.0, but my speeds didn't rise above 70 mbps. Is there some issue with the HDD or these are the normal 3.0 speeds??
 
those are normal speeds.

I got around 75-80 MBps while copying large files. The bottleneck here is the HDD speed and not the USB interface.
 
even i get same speeds .

transfered a 8 gig file from HDD to PC, speed vary 65+ .
 
So wht speeds can we get from a 8Gb or 16GB USB 3.0 pendrive????

I guess the pendrives will also giv same 70MBps speeds since they will be dealing with mech HDD's of the PC.......
 
I hope the Corsair one's can reach those speeds easily.... plus with their gr88 RMA policies its the one I will be looking to buy in future....
