USB modem - buying help/advice/suggestion required

i have a little different idea about buying a datacard
Get a UMW 190 or verizon fivespot from ebay.com in auctions
dc-unlocker can unlock UMW190 , NUC of fivespot is there with me have to test the unlock
will confirm regarding to you in couple of days
if got contacts in Tata Dococmo flash it with their firmware and you will be locked to TATA
other options do exist
used will also do , but new are also available

I also had 1 query regarding USB 3G Modems......My Reliance Net connect Plus has again gone kaput and I am paying 1000 Bucks a month for Mobile Broadband on my Dell Studio 15 which I require as I am frequent Traveler and need mobile on go. When 3G was not there these were the only options but now I plan to buy a low cost 3G USB Modem and get a !dea 3G Connection (checked their Plans and 598 Recharge gets me 2048 MB which is Enough for me) as right now this seems cheap and best as of now as reliance with their support and costly plans is now very expensive. Please tell me whether these modems would serve me good or not and what to do if I face any issue with in warranty or afterwards?? Users please throw light and help me.

I think you can get the Huawei umg 1831 modem, i got one for myself from ebay. It supports 2g/3g and its unlocked for all networks
