usb Tethering problem lg optimus one

Hi,
I'm using lg Optimus one with bsnl 3g.
The phone works fine with wifi tethering,but on usb tethering ,
the internet stops after 2-3 mins. the again i have to click off and on of usb tethering tab on the phone.It repeats after few mins.
the phone does not disconnects but the internet does..
But, on wifi hotspot tethering it works fine no problem atall.Since wifi consumes a lot of battery, so will preffer usb tethering..

Please note that this problem occurs only when downloading something or using torrent download.not on surfing..

Please, some one with optimus one help needed..

I think that i'm the only one with optimaus one froyo facing this problem..Or should i go to the service centre..
But actually service centre guys are really dumb..they don't know anything about android os.

Are you using stock rom? If you are using rooted ROM, there are a number of new radio's and kernel's that might help you with the problem, I have seen some links at XDA and am currently using Pershoot's latest kernel.

Thanks for the consern but i'm using stock rom.
will shifting to custom rom solve my problem...by the way what is the benefit of using those mod roms.??
