Using a cellphone while driving a bike

^ don't worry it can't be heard outside ;), i use a helmet and my visor is closed most of the time :bleh: (unlike those who use their helmets to protect their petrol tank or their rear view mirror or their helmet lock :@ :|)

I Never talk on mobiles while riding.. in fact, don't even bother to look at who is calling. Its not really worth it. And this circus thing - riding with one hand and speaking on a mobile with the other - is a plague affecting every place in India. Sometimes, seeing such people I feel like doing a RoadRash type kick...

^^f*&ked up attitude...

The Key here is to maintain a low speed and remain on the left side, drive slow..enjoy your ride even in peak traffic.
call me fcked up, call me mr slow call me what you want, This works for me best :ohyeah: And I'm sticking to it

If you think talking while riding is bad then the other day I saw this dumb retarted chick who stopped her car towards the right side of a double road and was talking on the phone!!
No one even bothered to ask her to move!
Yea me being the polite and nice person asked her to get the fck off the road! she gave me a startled look! :P

Most of the biker's and car's they usually just stop atleast towards the left and start talking on the phone. This pisses the $hit out of me..
Most of the smaller roads are so narrow that there is barely enough space for 2 cars to pass and now these lamers stop and chat away :@

^^ Being held up for a minute or two is way better than being run over by these people who are chatting on their mobile while driving..

Driving or riding while talking on a cellphone is proof that people need a little danger in their lives, so I think truckers and bus drivers should join the party to raise the stakes :P
Following up with another thought.... what if you're cruising down the road on your bike and you get an itch that you just gotta scratch. Maybe you had too much tandoori chicken or you had a really sweaty day. It could be just as dangerous, but they can't ban scratching can they!

my policy:

Stop the bike on the left *AND BEFORE DOING SO I MAKE SURE I AM NOT GONNA STALL THE TRAFFIC BEHIND ME*

See who the freak is calling

If its office, dad, family, answer and talk.

Any other contact - Tell that I am driving... ttyl

Any other - Answer the call, keep the mobile next to engine, REV the bike up, cut the call.

People who irritate me - Answer the call, keep the mobile next to the honker, start honking (again ensuring that fellow riders don't get startled and fall down), HONK AWAY till the caller cuts :P

Hows that?

:) On a side note I once had a crash while looking at a chick in front of christ college ...I hate sexy gals...they have no right to endanger others...

That itching is really irritating. Especially when you recently had a haircut, have the lid on, are in the middle of heavy traffic and its bloody hot.

That was what happened to me a few days back. You can't scratch, going to the road-side is out of the question and you can't stop.

I really feel stopping my vehicle and slapping this silly people driving like hell with cellphone between their head and shoulder.

I never pick up phone while driving a two wheeler.
If in four wheeler then a splash and dash will call you later right now driving.

In other sense these senseless people talking while driving bring me business :P, a bit usefull too for my pocket.

exactly but some people here call it a what now let me see a Fu@ked up attitude when you dont pick up the phone when your on the bike :P
I dont want a broken arm or leg thanks to a stupid phone call.

Good that I dont drive a baik.. :P

Neither do I attend to a call in my cell when I'm driving;

Either give a call back [or a missed one preferably if its from a cell phone.. :P] or drop a msg.. I'm always low on balance which's another thign..

Off lately I've seen a lot of them moving to the side of the road and attending the calls. :)
