i always feared and knew this was gonna happen. i think its time for our govt to put down some strict rules/awareness regarding the effects of mobiles and also implementation of mobile towers.
mobile companies are luring residential societies by paying good amount of money for mobile towers and societies agree to it without knowing the long time consequences.
my friend who is a doc said as per latest report 2012 has seen the highest number of brain tumor cases and most of them are from cellphone usage it seems.
suggesting everybody to restrict talking in mobile frequently and also pass on the message as much as possible

Did he consider the fact that population has increased, and the %age of people able to afford a doctor has increased even more.

Also your friend could have become more popular, so he would be seeing more extreme cases, which he would not have seen if he was a junior doctor

Can we have some sources from a science org?

Cause we all know how good judges/lawyers are with science
 
from the article "“Tumours due to radiation may not appear for 15 years, so three to five-year studies don’t find them"

so may this is the reason there hasnt been any strong proof from science org.

People get so worked up over radiation from cellphone towers. Huh, we receive more powerful and harmful radiations from the sun.

The only problem I see here is regarding extended mobile usage, as that would concentrate the radiation where you're holding it for long periods.

Field salesmen, field workers! My frineds cousin had it too. Though you cant call it a cancer or tumor. But his brain matter had literally "shrunk" right near the area where the ears are. He started having headaches and nausea. when he did an MRI scan, the doctor pointed out the small -ve deformation and due to cell phone usage. Advised him for 6 months bed rest and no cell phone usage.

Why would the mobile companies let people know that the cell phone towers are harmful? Would microwave manufacturing companies tell you that microwaving food kills certains vitamins? Will MacDonals telll you that their bugers will make you fat (DL and watch SuperSzie Me - A Documentary for proof). Have you ever wondered why so many people nowadays are getting cancer compared to your ancestors? Whatever you think about this issue, certainly dont expect the corporates to come out with a torch and tell you all the dirty truths - which apparently makes a lot of money fo rthese guys!

Don't beleive your BS, first a medical doctor is not the right person to comment about Cell phone radiation and its effects, a particle physicist will the a better choice on this topic. Secondly have you ever wondered why so many people nowadays reach delhi from mumbai in an hour than your ancestors??

Has the guy thought of suing the mobile company (the one he was using) for damages? and further suing all mobile companies for 'possible damage'?

oh now i see... How zombies will come in this world. :P 15 years from now, people will start getting tumors in brains due to increased cell phone uses and maybe one of them will turn into zombie.:P
