Has anyone every tried to use Google Maps in their web based applications? What we want to do is overlay a custom map (outline of the various constituencies of Mumbai) on top of Google Map of Mumbai and allow the user to click on their place of residence. We want to identify the user's constituency/ward,etc. from his marker on the map.
We have custom maps of the various constituency in jpg and dwg format which we are planning to overlay on Google maps but are not sure how to go about doing it.
