Ok Im a huge noob at this, so please be gentle, honey.:ashamed:

I got these 4 wires along with my video card ka dabba, I was wondering if it was possible to connect my PC to my TV so that I could use it as my monitor.

Here are the wires that came along in the box..

Specs in sig...TIA.

If your TV has an S-Video in, use the black cable on the left. My guess is your S-Video out on ur gfx card will be between your 2 regular output ports.

BTW what type of TV are you using?

Generally, the output res on your TV is going to be pretty horrible but you can use it to output movies without trouble and possibly some games.

Ok Im not entirely certain what model that is but if its a CRT I think that is exactly the same TV I have in my room. Ive run PES5 off my laptop onto the screen using S-Video and it wasnt very good.

What are you gonna be using the TV for?

TVs suck...Sometimes we try and use samsung plasma 42" displays to show small demos when our projectors are busy on other conferences...and you can hardly read the fonts on the plasma.

vij is right. Using your TV as your primary monitor wont work. But if you want to watch movies etc off your computer on your TV, that would be fine.
